Sorry but I don't like it when humans play with an animal's emotions. This may seem funny to the human but I suspect the dog is feeling anxiety and stress. Sorry.
That beautiful golden will find the person in less than a minute and be excited and happy. It's not scared or upset - there is zero anxiety or stress when you look at the body language - it's just looking around.
I appreciate that and it makes me feel better. I was reluctant to comment. I realize I'm hypersensitive about animals and possible pain or discomfort. Maybe the dog looking around is all part of the game? Thanks again!

They actually adopted me on Valentine's Day, and I was fostering Charlie before that. So, everything has settled into a beautiful routine at this point!
