I remember when my female ferret decided to sink her teeth into my forefinger for apparent reason. Probably instinctually protecting her kits but she had been really good about them being pet prior. Ferrets are cool.

So precious...I worked at a vet's office for almost 40 years and I've never forgotten the day a ferret grabbed my hand the same way and attempted to put it in his owner's purse as if he could take me home with him. Didn't hurt me but it did take awhile to convince him to let me go! 😅
