My father has a cockatoo who is allowed to fly free outside, but it always comes back. I often wish it wouldn't, especially after it bites me for no good reason! π
There was a gentleman on Front St in Lahaina Hi who had many parrots π¦ that did tricks. Hopefully some day Iβll get back there, and his parrots will again be performing - Aloha π€π½
I would not recommend this in the north. I have feed wild tropical birds like parrots and even a Cockatoo once at the bird feeder in the fall. Escapees from wherever. They do not survive northern winters π
Here I go again.
A guy I worked with in San Francisco had a parrot π¦ but he didn't clip the wings, so it flew out the window to find a better life! ππ

He is so lucky.
Everyone was stopping by to get photos. It was brilliant to see it enjoy being out in the open.
Me, I can bearly train our dog to not go running for the hills when I take her lead off.
