It's a misuse of English to call it scepticism.
As their views are based, not on reasonable doubts but the principle that 'the easiest way to solve a problem is to deny it exists' (Asimov) it must be labelled denialism

Their attitudes to climate change are downstream of their attitudes to economics- opposition to collective action/ support for individual freedoms. If they acknowledge climate change, the definitive collective action problem, their whole ideology falls apart.
