100% correct. The squad now if filled with player who are either injury prone or aging (or both). I agree that Edwards has made some bad calls, but I think any manager would struggle with this squad and now players have lost confidence.

This is why I worry that a change in manager may not get the bounce we need, without replacing some of the squad and getting some players that can stay fit!

Yep - but I don't think the board will sack RE as they know the weak squad is largely down to them. But fans shouldn't forget the big picture and they've done great things for Luton Town fc.

We know how fickle fans can get... i can't remember which teams are best examples, but Barnsley, Huddersfield, Wigan and even Bolton, some dramatic falls from the PL. We need to make sure we stay in this division and rebuild. When fit enough, we have the squad to compete but have underperformed

I actually thought there were small signs of improvement yesterday, although another frustration of course is Morris and Ade's lack of finishing - you can't win games if you can't score. Personally, I've never thought they work well together.

Sometimes they have, I remember Birmingham and Sheff utd away where they combined well to snatch that goal, but we don't seem to have a decent 3rd or 4th option. Not convinced it's Brown from deeper. Taylor hasn't had a chance and neither has Woodrow really.

No other manager would persist with a back 3 with this squad week in week out conceding 2 goals a game over 12 month. You just can’t look beyond that at the end of the day.

3/5 at the back worked with NJ and Rob but i don't think our players have been good enough, although Holmes and McGuinness are starting to show some good signs. But a lack of good full backs has also been a problem. Rob says he switches to a 4. But I don't think that's been for very long in games.

Personally I would prefer 4 at the back - but I still think the main issue has been injury's and lack of squad depth.
