Yes! Roya and their species live in the distant future where star production has slowed and high mass stars have nearly become extinct. Though, there is something else accelerating the rate of star extinction which has also affected Roya.

Good question! They aren't used to it at all, actually; The increase in entropy is an incredibly recent event which is closely tied to Roya. Though, I haven't actually fully fleshed-out those yet
