I get through my city so much faster than cars, we get to blast Vince guaraldi, I keep more of my money without a car, I'm not isolating myself from my neighbors, and I'm burning a fraction of the carbon

Not just urban transport!

I mostly use my e-cargo bike instead of my car for shorter trips in our largely rural part of the county. Spotted this little chap on top of a post box in a neighbouring village - a definite photo opp for the bike!!

There are some pretty decent 'hub and spoke' routes connecting villages to the local town of Stamford (if not between the villages themselves). In the 4 or 5 years I've been cycling, usage has definitely really increased. Main issue now is lack of cycle parking in town as more are cycling in.

I started bike commuting to work at age 50. It’s kept me active and healthy, but most of all it added fun to what had been two mind-numbing routines a day.

I only wish I'd gotten into biking sooner. It's been good for me in ways I wasn't even expecting. Although I generally don't ride on snowy trails like this. Had too many falls caused by slick conditions.
