Yeah, I've not seen it suggested elsewhere. It's morbid speculation on my part. I wouldn't put it past those bastards though. They love bringing "enemies" to heel.

The other theory being that the stroke addled him, which is pretty terrible but I can see why that would seem plausible. I had sent him some money in the past so I'm pretty bummed and confused.
