Also remind me to tell you guys the saga sometime about when my father and stepmother moved cross-country and I learned that professional movers will not touch dollhouses or fish tanks.

After they moved my house and studio they said they'd rather move my entire house again then move the clay slab roller ever again. I don't blame them, that thing is beastly.
That makes sense, I guess! Both have parts that are easily breakable, even underneath those heavy padded mover blankets. That would suck to find out on the day, though, because then... you're SOL.
We once thought a Clavinova piano wouldn't be a problem because it's fully electric, they'd basically have to drop it out of the van to hurt it. They finally agreed, but only after their foreman called HQ and had us sign a release. (The piano came through fine and we still have it.)
moving my small aquascaped fishtank was stressful as hell but gonna be honest...I don't think I WOULD trust anyone else lol
(draining the tank, removing individual large rocks, the delicate plants, relocating the fish, giving those fish bubblers...would NOT expect movers to know how to deal lol)
