I am embarrassed, ashamed, and disgusted.
Saying this as someone presently in the EU.
But it was not free so I don't think it counts as universal healthcare.
It is not a lot for what she got for it, but it is a lot of money, e.g. it can be two people's food budget for a month. Or three.
France is one of the countries we are considering moving to. I was surprised they are more generous than anywhere else I've looked at for getting you into the system. My reaction: "But I didn't pay into it?!"

But that may be because I live in a country where whether or not to feed hungry kids is a point of disagreement.
If the people would vote for a clear majority of dems, in the senate, in the house and of course, Potus..

Remember, after Obama installed the ACA, he lost the house and the senate 2 yrs later.
