That's not accurate, many health insurance companies do provide mental healthcare coverage and are required by law to do so, profits are not solely based on denying access to it.

No surprise there. Deny everything worry about it later. They want their profit margin high. Insurance runs this country. Followed by big farmer and ad agencies. Even the corporate CEO's of those companies might need mental health assistance at some point.

This is true. They have been denying mine for 10 years. They gave me the name of a doc on their plan that was 3 hrs away.

Then they finally gave pre-approval for a session, and refused to pay it when submitted.

I pay $677 a month for health insurance. They don't cover any of my private therapy or marriage counseling. My friend who is on Medicaid receives both services for a measly $4.70 co pay per visit.
