It still has to go to the House of Lords. And I'm for it, I want a choice if I'm ever in the position. We will do it for our beloved pets but family has to suffer.
I would love to be able to choose to die in dignity. But I can't support it under a system were we inadequately fund palliative care or social services. It just creates a system where the elderly, infirm poor and disabled will feel pressured to make that choice
But how many of the challenges are good faith issues that actually need to be resolved, and how many are just bad faith objections by people who don't want this at all?
