NYC really *used to be* a horror with all kinds of muggings,theft, human shit & piss in places it shouldn't be.. like, in the 70s & early 80s. But it's SO FRIGGIN SAFE now;I just went yesterday w/my kid,we walked, like 8 miles all through the city. The delusion of a hellscape crime wave is bizarre.
