Misleading RFK meme. Dude has tons of wacky non science ideas based on opinion not fact. We all want better food, but his pathway is filled with bad ideas and will get people sick.

He's full of shit anyway. We literally saw him eating McDonalds and a coke on Trump's private plane. He previously sold his own brand of bottled water that contained fluoride. He's a grifter who cares about influencing how people live...not health.
How are we being poisoned? Companies should use less sugar in everything, and I definitely want better labeling because I have no way to tell if there are holocaust farming byproducts when it says "natural flavors," but I think saying we're being poisoned is a stretch. You choose what you eat.
Just recently in the news, they're talking about red dye no. 3, which is made from petroleum. That's oil. Black Gold. Texas Tea. *Beverly Hillbillies theme starts playing*
The FDA has been all over it for a while now, they don't act without evidence of harm. While we can say this might be more harmful than we realize and we should just ban it anyway, suggesting we're being poisoned because you can't read labels and not buy red dye 3 products is silly.
Regulatory capture is a problem, and we should be wary of powerful institutions, but most bureaucrats are just nerds doing their jobs. Demonizing institutions because you don't agree with their decisions is MAGA behavior.
Sure, any one of these questionable ingredients isn't literally poisoning us, just bad for us. But there are so many of them in our diet, that's it impacts our health quite negatively.
And with the coming deregulation, it's only going to get worse.
Answering your question in a post is impossible. Would take reading on US food policy to understand how we came to be where we are. RFK Jr is right about food. But he's dangerously wrong about medicine, vaccines, and the need for health care. The answer isn't better food or more providers. It's both

But this is, as you say, one of those stopped clock phenomena.
And with the coming deregulation, it's only going to get worse.
