I think this may be a chart showing the breakdown of federal DISCRETIONARY spending. The vast majority of your budget in America is “mandatory”. Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security, Veterans Benefits, etc. Already mandated by law. However, I believe Trump (Musk?) wants to alter or eliminate parts.
I’m Canadian and, as you might imagine, have no love for the evil goop in a human costume that is Trump. That said, everyone I can find puts your military spending at closer to 13% of the federal budget. Where are your stats from? Or is it sarcasm (which would be fine)?
