As much as right wing populism DOESNT EXIST, trump has been able to message that way, and its something we need to reclaim desperately. I wish I had the true answers for what would do it, but I can tell you what I’ve heard trump voters tell me. “Biden/Harris is telling me the economy is great but I can’t afford rent”
They don’t feel like the democratic establishment is taking their issues seriously, and trump offers them a solution

I hate to be blunt, but you can’t help someone who refuses to be helped. Overall, I take contradictory positions. 1) let’s avoid an idiocracy. 2) don’t infantilize them. The working classes might need help, but too often the left sounds patronizing.
