Sometimes "disrupt" just means "ruin" and that's the truth.

Why? Who is this meant to be good for? Nobody wants your shit AI books, never mind 8,000 in a year. Just a terrible idea and a horrible road the publishing industry is heading down.

People have been admitting that they like trashy romance for ages. Does an AI really do that much worse than an apathetic/unpaid writer? If AI can basically cut and paste the hundreds of thousands of low brown books together it should be able to make niche content for a starved, small audience.

the amount of people youd need to hire to proof read and vet what will otherwise be complete garbage, as if written by an emotionless machine literally collaging other books together before saying “is this anything?” You may as well keep paying those actual humans without burning the sky to do it

This one's going on my hall of fame wall.

The fascination with disruption is weird. In medicine there are plenty of processes where we understand that if you disrupt them, you just die.
