In PM Carney's book, "Value(s), he talks about the fact that much of society's ills today are due to a corrupt economic system where Humanity is serving the Markets when The Markets should be serving Humanity. People are more important than things. This brilliant, kind man has my vote.

I don't disagree, but he needs to pay attention to taking away the influence of oligarchies. Big banking, big oil, big telecom, big food retailers, etc, control their markets through implied collusion. Making markets more competitive will expand markets, lower prices... everyone wins.. well almost

Let's get him elected & see how he does. He's by far the best bet we have for going toe to toe with the psychopaths in USA. That's the urgent and most important issue at this time. He shows great promise for everything else, there's no one more experienced managing economies well through crisis.

I’m going to go WAY out of the current box or limb and suggest that deregulation is our enemy. It has caused chaos in the market place for ordinary folks. What if we had extremely well made merchandise that would last for decades instead of creating mounds of trash?

Carney is a physically more energetic person than Joe Biden. Biden brought an economy that was the envy of the free world.
The world needs Carney now, more than at any time.His tough blunt speaking to the journalists was so impressive.
He has a way of bringing out the best in Canadians.
