First band I paid to see with my own money. This tour was to support the release of Fields of Fire - the album hadn’t yet been released. Portsmouth Poly, 20 April 1983. We did quite well to get down in the mosh.

We often mock our earlier (less cool) infatuations, but Big Country were my jumping off point for Nelson, Television, Velvets and so much more.
Without Stuart, it could have been so much different.

The Skids were one of the first groups I really got into,(who can forget Working for the Yankee dollar lol) Adamson certainly created a very unique sound on guitar
