I went to school in Oklahoma. Elementary and middle school. My grandparents told me about this. We were not ONE TIME told about this in school. That's why establishing a record is important. This shouldn't have to be taught through handed down stories alone.

Please have the DOJ research this: How Black healthcare providers face disproportionate DOJ targeting, especially in North Carolina, and nationwide are receiving harsher criminal charges than other races that commit for more egregious fraudulent acts. This affecting care within their communities!

I first learned this history in 2021 on its anniversary. I was a shocked then as I am now that no one has to responsibility for it. There are names attached to this and those names should be known.

A prompt official account of events is incredibly important to the historical record, justice and policy. The Nuremberg trials began a mere two months after the end of World War II.

I was born and raised in Tulsa (1960). I didn’t hear anything about it until 1979 when my older brother did his Masters thesis on the massacre. Nothing was taught in the schools.
