Thank you for sharing this. Part of me wants to hate them all, unconditionally, with burning anger. I am consciously seeking the good without pretending away the bad so that I can hopefully contribute more good. There is good in this person's story.

This is the source of the only shred of sympathy I have for Kyle Rittenhouse. He's a killer, but he was also seventeen. Thanks to the way he dodged all consequence and was enfolded into the clammy embrace of the right, he will never become better. He'll be a rancid 17-yr-old the rest of his life.
