One of my biggest questions is also, where are the companies and institutions? Are they seriously so shallow and negligent that they would rather see everything go down in fascist flames than stand up? Do they really think they won’t be affected or that they are safe?

I love your point about Corporate leaders needing to step up and speak out.

They have Citizens United. Which led to a lot of this mess.

If companies only use it for endorsement, not censure, it's nothing more than a feudal tribute system. They're naive to think they'll be fine in all of this.
