Sometimes I can’t believe that MASH was as good as I remember.
Then I see clips and realize it was better.

I don't know if there is a more appropriate goodbye to Loretta Swit, than her last scene in MASH in the series finale.
Loretta won two Emmy's for her role as Major Houlihan.

But there were star performances by every member of the ensemble. Loretta Swit received two Emmys for her work and Jamie Farr’s Klinger…yeah.
Watched at the time, enjoyed sporadic reruns and own the DVD boxed set. Guess I am a fan. ☺️
I watched it fairly regularly when it aired originally... and then at some point in the '90s it was on in sindication daily, I found myself watching every day for a few YEARS
Recently I've been catching it again, and it's hard to turn off! Nearly very episode is great & worth the watch.
My parents should have known then that I'd have mental health issues and hate their politics
I’m thinking about that a lot now. It was sooooo ahead
if it’s time. Brilliant. Timeless.
The producers never wanted the canned laughter in the first place, and the DVDs have the option to watch the episodes without it. It makes it a different show.
RIP, Major Houlihan. 😔
Re watch The Red Balloon (for example)
Profoundly affected me as a child. It still does.
One of his favorite shows.
How many shows can claim that?
