Bravo to you! It may be lonely and you may be outnumbered by reds but you can lay your head down at night knowing you are not complicit by willingly allowing open corruption and extortion. It’s shameful that so many people are burying their heads in the sand.

We are in Appalachia, there aren't really any nearby towns of any size, and the state capital is over a 3 hour drive away. Our county is deep red. Several years ago, our elected officials tried to secede from Maryland and become part of West Virginia. That tells you how insane it is out here.
