The game was set during the battle for Tukayyid. It's the Flower Power scenario from the scenario book that released with the Clan Invasion Kickstarter. This is the fourth time I've run the scenario. The ComGuard players the first three times lamented how absolutely out matched they were. 2/9

This was despite the victory condition being strongly in their favor. To offset the clan numerical and skill advantage, this time the ComGuard players were given air and artillery support in the form of Battlefield Support cards. 3/9

This year I goofed up and printed the wrong Thor Alpha Strike card for the Clan side. I gave them the Thor II C, not the Thor C. Same PV, and no one noticed, so not a big deal. 4/9

The other mistakes: did not have as much tree cover as I would have liked; should have had the ComGuard side organized into formations and deployed before players sat down, to speed the start of the game. 5/9

Turn 1. The Clans walked towards the city, while the ComGuard sat. Long range fire was piddly. ComGuard had two Light Strikes that they plinked a MadCat with. 6/9

Turn 2. The Clans continued to walk and fire at the ComGuard, most of which either missed the units in cover, or stripped away armor. The clustering of forces on one flank for the Falcons saw them eat a Long Tom and Sniper round. Between that and ComGuarc shooting, the flank was crippled. 7/9
