Many years ago, my wife & I were at a restaurant called BiCE in Manhattan. A well-dressed man was at the table next to us. When he left, our waiter rushed over to ask if we recognized him. We hadn’t. “That was Gianni Versace!”, he said excitedly. We didn’t know who he was. Had to look him up later.
