Since I spend most of my day with #PowerShell open, an adapted version of your old code will do the job brilliantly (I don't think I need to start a job to be the sleep preventing thread). Thanks for writing that

My only desire is a timer. "Keep awake for 1 hour, then go back to normal".

I have an ancient monitor with an integrated speaker, and when the screen goes to sleep, the music stops. I have to keep wiggling the mouse to keep it going.

I'd like a way to specify "Stay awake any time abc.exe or xyz.exe is running. These are apps which didn't call the 'I'm busy' win32 API but should have. Ex. Sikuli automated test driver.

Is power toy awake different than enabling presentation mode from the mobililty center?

With PowerToys Awake, you don't need to enable presentation mode from the Mobility Center. The latter is also not available on desktop devices.

Also, Awake is significantly more flexible and allows quite a few behavior customizations.
