Confusing to the point of bewilderment. I don’t think ecgs are complicated to do but deciding when to do them and what to do with the result might be. Are we talking about screening? For the uninitiated- A random ecg marked as abnormal by the machine itself. The bottom line is the rhythm strip. Everything above that line is the 12-lead result derived from a particular placement of 10 leads on the chest and limbs.
