That was the most intelligent and thoughtful conversation about that state of the game I’ve heard in months. Danny Green is the first personality with a mic that brought up the fact so many of the leagues stars are foreigners, and Americans are.., Americans.

Hello, and thanks. I'll just say this, bc I hear some version of this complaint often: We're not going off a script. It's mostly spontaneous riffing, esp in a case like this, where I hadn't planned on discussing this point. Point being: The absence of your favorite player is not some sort of snub.

I mean, literally every one of these concerns is either directly about players and/or has been voiced by them, including some of the most prominent players in the league. Also by team and league officials. But sure, blame the media.

The biggest problem is that players and owners won’t give the cash back to shorten the season. Best games always seem to be after rest when teams can prep….

I know, I know. But it seems like in a league with Wemby, Mitchell, Morant, Jokic, Luka, Giannis, Tatum all the sky is falling stuff is a bit overblown. Particularly around ratings. There has been some awesome games this year.
