BOYCOTT UPDATE: starting jan 19, we are boycotting META, GOOGLE, LINKEDIN, and X (TWITTER). all four of these companies lobbied heavily for the tiktok ban. this is indefinite. that means no end until we get tiktok back.

I didn't even wait. The second I saw your TikTok video, in addition to the 4 videos from others saying the same, I went & did it. All I did on there was repost political TT videos anyway and hashtagged the crap out of them to get the videos out there. Haven't had withdrawals yet 💯🔥🫶🏻
Bing for search engine. bluesky should be a permanent replacement for X lol. Linked in can be replaced with indeed. we obv don’t have a video platform with tiktok going away, but for messenger use signal. threads is the same as X.
Microsoft owns both Bing and LinkedIn, not much of a difference there. Your best bet is Startpage and DuckDuckGo, but even then, Google's main source of revenue isn't the search engine, it's AdSense, YouTube, Gmail, Android, etc.
we don’t have to ditch everything. just the main meta apps is enough to make an impact. we dont wanna go cold turkey on some of the essentials like gmail and youtube if you genuinely need to watch something
YouTube is the exact reason as to why Google is lobbying the TikTok ban, and that's exactly why we should stop using it. TikTok is a huge threat to YouTube.
Google also donated to Trump, massively. The entire online ecosystem is leaning right, with the exception of Snapchat, BlueSky, WeAre8, the upcoming OWN app, and the upcoming Neptune app. Check out WeAre8, though - it's already pretty big and NO ONE is talking about it. Lots of big names on it.
Bing is Microsoft - donated to Trump to the tune of $2m+. Amazon to the tune of $1m+. YouTube is blocking and censoring left and right and no one is talking about it. Fuckerberg knows that there is a mass exodus planned and he doesn't care. He even said they expect it to make the platform better.

It's going to be BETTER than TikTok in all the right ways. There is MONTHS of information to go through, so start NOW. Beta starts later this month or early Feb. iPhone will release first in the spring followed by Android.
