Definitely feeling it today. In the middle of a move and had to get on the floor to connect internet as no furniture yet. I can no longer get off the floor without assistance. This is sad.

I went to the Clinic, and, as I was being checked out, I discovered that the fall righthad caused a very large bruise on my right butt and the top of my right thigh.
But that hematoma dissipated over time, and I wound up doing a lot of backpacking that summer.

Meanwhile, my cat who sleeps 18 hours every day can jump up from a dead sleep and parkour up a bookcase.
You just need to spend some time thinking about it.
I didn’t get into backpacking until I was past 30, but for at least the next decade I didn’t worry about it.
