As Communists, we believe that the proletariat should control production and thus the mechanisms of power. Workers should collectively own the means of production, because we produce everything.

We’re not going to get that control through the infrastructure put in place by our class enemies. It’s going to take a revolution. We have to change the material base of the political economy if we want to bring forth a truly democratic world.
This is why we work to build solidarity through our mutual aid and actions, why we participate in advocacy, why we criticize our class enemies, why we engage in political education.
This is what Communists do, and even though we expect backlash and criticism for identifying as such, that is because our society is extremely anti-communist due to decades of capitalist propaganda.
“Communism is the doctrine of the conditions of the liberation of the proletariat.” It is the program for emancipating workers from wage servitude and the oppression of poverty. It is the only path forward if we want to live truly free, indeed if we want to live on this planet at all.
