I cancelled netflix last year and haven't looked at the service since and will not be coming back (re-subbing) to the service, netflix is crap, I prefer to pirate their content now
I was comparing it to Blockbuster. I remember my parents paid a yearly fee and then the renting fee and a late fee once in a while. It comes to the same costs except Netflix isn't building up their horror and action films and everything is foreign. I don't like paying higher prices.
They simply must be required to have the user agree or decline to new terms when the price changes. There's no reason they should be allowed to change the price when people aren't paying attention.
Honestly no idea, I was watching South Korean TV when the President thing happened.I use a m3u provider with world TV,some 30000 channels in 180 countries.Just checked and yeah, Single's inferno is on,4 seasons of it. However, that service cost $80/year but includes every streaming service imaginable
Why would you not have that voice over on the streaming service? I mean, it comes from Netflix? Just chose the US service and its the same?I just checked the Spanish service and you can have spanish, english french, whatever you want. I watch Apple TV+ on the same service.Works fine, same with prime.
Are you kidding. This list is hilarious. Most of these repeat each other and with commercials. I’d rather have cable and I always said with these streaming services by the time you add them up you’re paying for cable, but you’re paying also for ads
Yeah. It's damn crappy that they don't tie off a series.
To paraphrase the assholes "Oh, we make lots of money but we cancel them because we don't make enough!".
Content and customers aren't important. Only making as much money as fast as possible is.
Agreed. My problem with the other apps is waiting for an episode to drop each week. I get we are watching shows too fast, but we mind as well go back to cable/dvr. It’s too expensive to have all these apps
I recommend both Britbox and Acorn as alternative streaming services. Together they cost less than Netflix, and have superb movies and TV shows. Acorn has British, New Zealand, Australian, European, and Canadian shows; Britbox has the UK's. Worth checking into.
And they’re the most aggressive about password sharing. It was worth it for me to share an account with my parents, but I can’t justify paying for an entire subscription when the selection has been so mid for so long.
I cancelled 4 years ago, and won't renew. I rotate between HBO, apple, peacock and whatever else has free or trivial cost trials, hulu, paramount, mgm etc
also to be fair during actor strike the head of there union did go live on youtube and look right at camera telling everyone
"consumers are going to pay more"
shes the black lady in picard
wot is netflix OHHHH the expensive american streaming service
no dont pay for any american stream services no more
-canadian that could care less about american costs
And imma cancel them.
Mine went from 11.99 to 15.99 in Aug.
Feb supposed to go up to 24.99, and it'll be done. Already canceled Prime.
Not ordering from Amazon.
Streaming only made sense when there was one monthly fee. The deal was you sacrifice live sports/news & syndicated shows, and in return can watch anything else on demand, and for a tenth of your old cable bill. Now it's just cable without bundling.
We cancel Netflix 9 months out of the year. Will get it for 3 months binge watch whatever we have heard about or think is interesting. And then cut it off for 9 months
They just increased the price. When at 15.50 I felt it to be reasonable.
When compared with the old ways of Video Horizon, when one DVD or video cost $3-4 to borrow, Netflix was not bad. Just find that the choices are not as good and varied as the good old Netflix DVD.
Same, I think I quit my own subscription in like 2015, borrowed my parents' until they did the stupid account sharing BS, then we all quit Netflix together.
Oh no, I meant my parents offered to pay the extra money per month but I told them I would rather completely go without Netflix on principle. Thank you for pointing that out!
Just deleted that and watched in free streaming so you don't gives them the opportunity of continuing do this.
More people payment more they doesn't listen so do the opposite
It is more profitable if you make minimum content so viewers complain about it but stay just in case something comes along. They only try to attract new customers. Existing ones are just there to be fleeced. Now you even have to put up with adverts 😆 that's crazy by subscription.
They really smoking crack cause that price is insane. More than half of their shows are canceled left 1 or 2 seasons so it really dont make sense to me lol
We are seriously discussing doing exactly this.Network tv is crap, news is fake & the 6 svces we pay for want another $4 to watch every old flick we look for
Realll, but also they have so many films on my bucket list on there, I'm stuck with em. And Wednesday season 2 isn't out yet, so upset, I'm waiting patiently
Unpopular opinion - they have released some great shows recently- No Good Deed, Black Doves, a Man on the Inside, Nobody Wants This. Stranger Things to be released later this year….it beats reality TV. 🤷🏻♀️
As a human who has had multiple calls with Netflix re: the well known abuser producers they keep hiring? I won't give them a cent. As well those producers are fucking untalented losers so as we learned in film school: shit in, shit out.
Thanks for coming to my mini ted talk in your comments ;) xo
It's their business model.
Series are back ended loaded, producers only make real money in later series - but guess what? Netflix cancel before that happens.
Hard agree. Mid is being generous though, I think. Everything they put out looks and feels the same and the quality is garbage. They're a bottom tier streaming app and they think they're hot shit.
They're doing their part to give us all less product for more money. That's all I can figure. So,I ended my account. If we don't fight back at every gouge, we will never make progress. I love my streaming through Hulu. Plus, my LG channels. Best decision I've ever made.
I’m just trying to get to Stranger Things then i’m canceling. I’ve stood by Netflix for the better part of 15 years. From physical disk deliveries, to the early days of mediocre streaming, and now we’re on to overpriced and no content.

I cancel often and resubscribe on occasion.
lol
I buy things to own them.
The antitrust against the studios owning their own theaters (streaming service) was sunsetted. That's why everyone has one now and the content sucks.

Also, if everyone else did the same, it would send a clear message of "Netflix needs us more than we need it."
It baffled me how they dropped a collection of movies I could rent that never showed up on their site.
More people payment more they doesn't listen so do the opposite
Stop subscribing.
Simple fix.
People should keep leaving.
