It’s just so demoralizing. I did what I was told to do. Went to college, got my degree, all with the promise of a better life and the promise of affordable repayment options. Now these student loans could potentially ruin millions of us. Our financial futures are being held hostage.

Boomers are the ones who told us to go to college because that was the only way we could get a good job and make a good living and said “don’t worry, student loans will help you so you can get your degree” and now they’re all “why did you to go to school if you couldn’t afford it?!” I hate them too

I saw someone breaking down prices for Boomers vs. Millennials. Thing that they considered luxurious are dirt cheap now. Things that are necessities (housing, education, etc.) were cheap for them and basically luxury prices for us. The generational divide is so bad for them to be making policies.
