This should be one of the biggest stories in the world right now. Millions of people are either directly or indirectly dependent on the Kafue river for their survival. This is crazy.

A poor country accepting financial support from a government that we don’t like isn’t intrinsically the fault of the citizens.
They don’t deserve this any more than Ukraine deserves being bombed.
