I wasn't sure how many tents (contubernium) to show in my reconstruction. If we are to assume a camp held two legions (approx 10K men) with eight men sharing a tent, that's a lot of tents! But were all the infantry present in one camp at the same time, or were they posted in neighbouring camps?
