The Witch
S1x3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Again a perfect high school concept wittily brought to life.
Xander’s struggle to be inferior to Buffy (a girl) already begins grate a little. But everyone shines.

The idea of the monster only after virgins is age old. But this one of the shows poorer episodes for me.
If it wasn’t for the characters it wouldn’t work.
S1x5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The juggle of dating is never an easy one for a slayer, and it’s nicely acted by Gellar here. Owen is never going to be more than a one date guy, too tame.
The idea of the anointed one is a neat twist, but sadly never really used.
S1x6 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The bully metaphor is more on the nose with the hyena pack, but I’ve always liked this episode.
But it shows the show can go quite dark, eating the pig and Principal Flutie, and the fact Xander try’s to force himself on Buffy.
S1x7 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A brilliant episode which brings showcases Angel, and started dropping hints of whats to come. The only downfall is there was one was dusting Darla so early.
S1x8 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ah the dangers of online, decent enough, if a little clunky. Moloch looks decent in both forms.
This is a fun concept, and while Sid isn’t the best dummy in the world you can’t help but like him. Principal Snyders introduction is brill and the dramatic reading in the credits is fun.
