I am weeping reading @alifrance.bsky.social's story. That she survived the loss of her leg, her husband and her son in separate tragedies and still has the desire to serve others is... I'm not sure there are words to describe her.

When I got a bit of space I was thinking about just one of those 3 horrors would have been sufficient 2 destroy many a person.
Finally, at last, about time, not all of them
And she will, I'm confident, be so much more than those excoriating events in her life.
But.
Media will want to turn her narrative into an extended sob story; trivialise her and her work.
