On Tuesday, Sec. of Veterans Affairs Collins said cuts to 875 contracts would save nearly $2 billion. But when veterans learned that those contracts covered medical services, doctors, cancer programs & burial services for vets, the outcry was so loud that on Wed. the VA rescinded the ordered cuts.
