No easy solutions for US folks, but any non-US orders should probably ship straight from China (or bulk ship to a friendly third country first, then breakdown and ship off to individual non-US countries from there).
Yikes. How will this affect our orders for those of us that selected DHL then? Will we be invoiced the difference? Also I know you guys just got back from vacation so I’m sure there’s a backlog but what’s the typical turn around time to hear from customer service?
Yeah I’ve got an OLED touch pre order that’s still being manufactured from what I was told by RR support that I chose DHL shipping on. I would rather switch it to another option if this is the case.
I’m happy with FEDEX, their fees aren’t so high, correos has the same 20€ (and you can’t do card payment) of fees if you doesn’t do papers by your own, last time I paid +20€ for a 10€ in PCBs fron @oshpark.bsky.social, the solution is doing the IOSS by the seller during payment process.
they, too, charge a processing fee, even if you do the import paperwork online yourself. it's a bit cheaper, but you still pay it on top of whatever VAT and duties you owe

It’s fine to know that for next time! 🙂
