I do not see repetitions in the astro book above. And I haven’t really checked all the others.
BTW You can drag&drop (or copy and paste) a IIIF manifest link into my Chronoscope to open the IIIF book.

The 9th-c. text is more legible to a modern reader than it would have been in the 14th c. in part because the majuscule letterforms are those we use today. In the Gothic period the alphabet was written quite differently. A 14th-c. reader would not necessarily have been able to read the earlier hand.

Yes, it’s not exactly a straight line. I guess that's partly due to the influence of humanistic scripts on typeface design? Honestly, in general I find 16th- to 18th-century writing way harder to read than 13th- or 14th-century scripts—but (in part) that’s probably just what I’m used to.
