What??! Cmon we can tell what part of the island you’re from based on certain words or phrases. Copaigue way different than Yaphank, Hempstead vs St James, Hamptons are more southern sounding, and yes we all have accents!!!

Haha you don’t hear it cause you’re there. I grew up there, left at 24, and it’s so obvious now. It’s so comforting haha :-)

Lol i left ny in 98 but in all honesty Ive been told i dont have a ny accent nor do most of my friends lol there were some words like coffee and water that I was told I had an accent but that was it. I wish i could send a voice clip through here and then you can hear me have no accent lol 😆
