I can refuse to watch cable news, and click on things that give him ratings but I cannot ignore the assault that people are currently experiencing. This proves nothing much changes for rich white men when different people take power in this country, and they don't get it.

I blocked him on twitter years ago for something else problematic. From what I noticed he will always defend his whiteness before Black and Brown folks.

He has so many takes like this and usually there are people in his comments correcting him but he doesn't seem to change his mind. Imagine if the characters in his books tried to "just ignore" whatever evil befalls them. He *does* understand the concept because they don't! 🙄
