There are a lot of subway stations with very little around them that should be getting this development. Mall redevelopment is fine, but it should come along with massive mitigations for the environmental harm of being located directly next to a toxic Highway

It's good that malls are being redeveloped to be multiuse and provide homes for thousands of people.
But it's beyond messed up that Toronto's zoning and policies forces residential towers right next to polluted and harmful highways to ensure that single family houses are untouched and shielded.
