I felt like TMP left everything I loved most about Star Trek out. It was cold-lacked the warmth and humor of TOS. I thought Kahn got it right. I was disappointed in TMP.

I thought the de-humanizing of Spock for the majority of the movie tied in to the journey of V’ger, both of them reaching for enlightenment and ultimately finding it in humanity.
