We really do have a special bond with dogs, because if you were out for a walk with your friend Doug and every three minutes he was like “hold on, it smells like somebody peed here, let’s check it out” you probably wouldn’t keep hanging out with Doug

so true, they are leaving their "calling card"
Ppl like at me sideways like I’m a mutant while I’m like “why would anyone want to go get covered in ticks?” And no one can answer that question or tell me how they keep
Only to shamefully drop it when I point at him getting close to his face saying "no doug, drop it"
As well as Doug randomly rolling on the ground cuz the smelled something stinky
That's accurate dog life
Also Doug would have to scream at every dog he sees, his own reflection, garbage cans, the wind, winter coats, and vehicles he doesn't understand that might be dogs
Having lived with cats for most of my life, I've come to appreciate walking dogs much more than I ever expected. The stopping to sniff is an oddly calming delight—even in the worst of weather with a bag of poo in hand. I'm not very good at "being in the moment" while any dog does nothing else.
Rude, mean, crude.

You lucky bastard. 💕
A 10 minute brisk walk becomes a 30 minute sniff walk! 🫰
Because that would definitely influence the decision.
sorry..
