To be fair, the US has been “strategically” bombing Yemen for decades and every time I hear about it I’m like “what? Why?” And the news just says “for the strategy”
Anything is justified if you do it strategically, really. I strategically eat pizza for lunch every day, right before taking a strategic nap during work hours.
It doesn't matter if you happen to be doing some unjustified bombing of a third world country.
Right now it's because the houthis aren't exactly making the red sea (read: suez canal) a safe place for ships to go thru. That's not to say bombing is the right thing, just saying that's the reason rn
If you're really curious, it's because pirates. The Houthis operate out of Yemen and target shipping through the Red Sea. We also attacked a bunch of people in Somalia for the same reason. The Houthis have been getting a lot of press lately because they are funded by Iran & oppose Israel.
In a word? Oil. Pretty much any activity we're involved in over there is for the oil. I just want to know how drunk Pete Hogsbreath was when he added that journalist.

(Whew, I did remember something from middle school Social Studies.)
I also think they are obsessed with Greenland because of the Mercator projection maps. "Look at the size of that place!"🙄

Step 2: Wait, the religion from FFX?
Step 3: Whatever, keep bombing it, Whatever it is.
That's the whole strategy
