When planes hit, we all came together as a country. This is worse, bc it is good verse evil, & evil might do us in this time. There arenโt many guardrails to stop the evil train this time.
No. This is much worse. On 9/11 America untied. Political parties didnโt matter. We stood together in grief. Now, we have 1/2 the country fearing for their lives and the other half gloating and laughing about it.
Ask Chileans how they felt in 1973 (50th anniversary last year, when yanquistan backed a fascist coup. Yanquistan always opposed democracy in other countries, now they oppose it in their own.
For me, it's actually worse because I'm on SSI. I hope all those social anxiety panic attacks I had 20 years ago about society coming to get me weren't a prophecy. It was a living nightmare when I wasn't being treated for my mental illness. I don't want to go back.
Perfectly said for this whole disaster. I have yet to see anyone adequately explain why people voted for a felon and against their own interests. Apparently anger and hate take precedence over logic. Still donโt get it. Big picture people!!!!!!
The same. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out ways to protect our assets and get through the shitshow that these clowns want to create. I'm very worried about the "shock and awe" shit to quickly tank the economy, then re-build it for themselves with crypto as the "new currency". fuck.
At first one was in shock, then the horror of reality hits harder than a meteor hitting the Earth. Shock is then just an adjective, cuz the ice cold fingers come out from nowhere and we realize the Orange menace somehow did it again and it wasnโt a magic trick. Thatโs how it felt to me.
I was young but I remember it well.
First there was shock
Then disbelief and stunned silence
Then panic and disarray
Then anger and sadness
That anger and sadness helped us come together as a community, we vowed to never let that happen again.
In times of darkness and great uncertainty - We unite.
