encourage everyone in North America to read internationally. failure to know about how the rest of the world thinks,acts and lives is what is getting our countries to this point. The battle of ideologies requires knowledge. No book bans! Fund public schools! Teach do not indoctrinate!

We are not them. The election happened. The result has happened. Was there outsized influence by social media? yes. Did Joe Rogan finally break his audience? yes.
But the loss doesn't happen if more people voted. Not voting for Harris because of Israel was a vote for Trump.

I would be very careful listing the BBC now as the Governing Body is right wing, part of the wealthy elite and now broadcasting heavy Reform and right wing Conservative propaganda We are working to try and get our Government to replace the existing board with independent members
I should have read the whole list but got to the BBC and thought oh no, can't trust them on this list. Only when I posted and then saw Sky I wished I'd added them too.
There are some truly unreliable UK news sources there unfortunately. BBC board is run by the right wing Tory party, Sky news is owned by right wing Murdoch empire. The guardian is a right wing neoliberal rag who still claim to be centrists. The Overton window is now so extreme that they seem ok.
I second France24, and Agence France Presse is reliable if you happen to understand French. The Globe and Mail skews right - I would hesitate to put it on this list.

For the UK, I'd add the Financial Times (it's not just business news), Channel 4 News and, for real independent reporting, the Byline Times. They're all on Bluesky:
