My Social Sec check goes to help my son care for his 2 autistic children. His wife is a teacher. Today she may lose her job and the kids will lose their classrooms. Tomorrow I may lose my ability to help them. I’ve never known such hate for so many selfish people. I’m so ashamed of human kind.

I did not envision my retirement staying home to avoid viruses. Had planned to travel, but not now. Postponing needed home repairs for fear of not being able to pay for them. They would like me to give up my home under financial duress and then they can swoop in and buy it.

Please don't forget about disabled folks. We also depend on SS and Medicare/Medicaid to survive. The constant stress is causing a major flare of my chronic illness symptoms, causing a significant increase in pain, and making daily tasks even more difficult. And I know I'm not alone in that.
